Was about to bail on this but Orla was already on her way so headed up to the school where we met Erica and Demo. We headed up and did a quick lap around the deadly mines. Its great up there at the moment, pretty dry.
Except the tree dropper has been out with avengence.... So Orla and were up there yesterday and it wasn't too bad but tonight they had stepped up a notch, there are more branches and they are bigger so that you can't ride over them so be warned

Yep, great spin Shona, its good to be back. Bloody freezing on the road but grand in the trees. God I'm unfit after my sabbatical. Thanks guys for the fun spin. Now I'm off to put on the roast beef dinner.....
ha ha!!! I could only manage pasta on a Monday night! Dermo was a little scared when he turned up and realised he was heading out with all ladies but he soon go used to us!!
Richie it is all along the back of Katys, but last week it was just at the beginning of that trail now it's the whole way to the end and like I said the branches are much bigger now you can't hop over them
ah yeah, its been like that before but I am going up next Monday in my black ops gear and my chainsaw and I am going to chop to bits any logs and branches that I find, I am going to make it impossible for these ****s to block the trail and hopefully I might even catch them ! I think its one of the people who live on the road there , I know one of the folks there and the night riding past there is freaking some of the people who live on the road but as they drew first blood , its war.
Monday Wednesday and Sunday Spins this week 4.2.13
Why in gods name would night cycling freak people out? First time maybe, but after that surely they would get the idea that those lights were not UFOs and they weren't going to get... well. Anyways, they must have nervous dispositions, 'here, I'm freaked out by cyclists, sure I will just spend the next hour wandering around a forest on my own'... No, sounds more like 'look, people have some fun, *******s, I'll show em'. Mind you... fun.... If they knew the half of it... I spend my time up there praying for the next tree across the trail to get a rest :-)
that was a deadly comeback spin for Gary..10 started , we lost 1, then we finished with 10 , work that out scientists ! everybody was flying along, great loop even though I say so myself , its all about the coonecting of the trails and the pace..great spin great group..strava tells me I have ridden my bike every day so far in February !
