Hello, Thursday for 7.00
Protagonists would need to be relatively fit and be extremely self sufficent .
Powerlinks are essential.
and a sense of humour is crucial.
Hello..I'm just in from the wettest spin of 2009..myself and Carol battled our way around 3 rock and Fergals singletrack..fair play to him, I'd have drowned without it. I couldn't bring myself to go back out at 7.00 with the boys. I was probably nursing a body temp of about -200 when I got to the Gala Shop.I know shes my wife and all and hardened to extreme conditions after nearly 30 years with me, but by jaysus she managed a nifty savage spin around 3 rock in horrendous conditions.
Fair dues to you both!
I was in having a "Thursday Evening Pint" in the Blue Light when one of the lads came in and said "There's two f...in' gobsh..es out there on their bikes - and one of them's a girl!!!!".
It didn't take me long to guess who that was!
After living the past 29years in Ireland I have recently noticed that it has started raining once in a while. This was a big shock to me.
When it rains the mountains are slippery and dangerous and I am afraid I might crash my bike or worse still get wet and possibly catch a cold. This of course could lead to the sniffels.
I am looking for a club, where on wet evenings, we can all sit together and watch Coronation Street.
Can you help?
Alfie and Alan have done soft.
Tim, John D and Myself made a mockery of 3 rock. Some spin!
I knew you would keep going..I just couldn't feel my feet and Hands..plus the fact that Carol hit a car on the way up and she wouldn't go home , I kind of thought I better be nice.
Some woman..
There was no turning back at that stage. Fair play to TIm for turning back in the car and sure John is just mad as a brush!
There is no way you could have gone out a second time, way too f'ing miserable.
Rain, snow, locusts and smud, enough I say. I want some dryness, just once this month. Sheesh. Well done, I couldn't face it. I going to flog myself in shame.
Yep, I was in Djouce it what can only be described as the worst conditions I've ever rode a bike in....
downwards, upwards and sidewards rain, soup fog, savage wind, flying trees, you should have seen Ack, I couldn't see any roots.... that will give you an idea how much water there was.
My nose only warmed up about 10 mins ago, best worst night spin ever
I got stuck in work so wasn't going to make the spin in time. I think the first time i was happy to work a bit late, my biking ride home was bad enough. :)
