Pass out on couch whilst watching roche taking the red jersey at the vuelta
Great group out today... Me, Chris, alfie, rudolph, Colm mc g, and Dan set off from Taylor's at 9 sharp. Up to the top of fairy via the sticks climb and upper metro. Down the woccas to tibraden then back up legends xc and dh. Up over the bog of death and a pit stop at ravens where we admired colms footwear choice for the day. Onwards down a slippery bag of chips and over knockree and up the beast that is maulin. Down the walkers path and up ride rock where a lovely lady (****) stopped us for a chat . Down the deadly descent to the river where more nazi a walkers were wrecking the trails. Up the climb past Alan's trail and over djouce mountain and boardwalks to ballinastoe. Craic'n descent down stage 5 and tea at nialls place... no poxy milk though . Alfie and Colm drove the pain train , toot toot, the way back to Taylor's. Great tough spin... Thanks lads
Mega spin...picked a tough route out to ballinastoe with lots of hard technical climbing fair play to everyone for making it round,(pity about Chris's mechanical) haven't been so tired at the end of a spin for a long time
That was a hard spin, great route with loads of technical descents and single track. The lunch stop was hilarious. After the river valley climb my tong was hanging on the ground. Great to get a cup of tea and much needed water at Ballinastoe for the way back on the road. I could see you guys ahead of me but couldn't close the gap. When i hit the Enniskerry climb I gave up and pedaled steady back to the car. Legs are in bits. Thanks for organizing this Oscar.
