Sorry didn't make it, woke up late, ended up in 3 rock, there was nobody up there this morning. I meet one other friend so had a nice 20k spin, all over the place.
Thanks for leading the spin Terry, really enjoyed it. Great day for it. Good few of the sat spinners missing today. There was this couple that we saw in the woods and the guy was looking at us like he would really like to be doing what we were doing. I told Harri and he came back with a great line "the men want to be us and the women want to be with us"
sorry you missed it guys it was a great one lead by Terry - he did the place in ways I've never seen, down outlaw right at the start - a big change - that upset my equilibrium a little. Not. Terry, Oscar, Iomair, Ben, Alan, Diarmo and I had great blast around juicy Djouce, across this over that, under - not so much, I hit my head a right thwack off a tree towards the end back up outlaw - ouch!
To save everyone's time Alzer and I punctured at the same time - I used to own a nice new tubeless tyre now it's tubed. Sad times. Alan confused changing a tyre with solving Fermat's last theorem. He made it seem harder than quantum mechanics. Terry took him under his wing and showed him how the black rubbery bit comes off and how it goes back on again. . . etc. etc.
I think everyone dabbed - it was that kind of day - we even had a lovely photo session - I'll have to upload them (2) later when I figure it out! nice times in the sun. happy freakin' days!
thanks to everybody for turning up a lot drier than expected one puddle on xtc dry other wise nearly no water in river made crossing easy
The puncture tube changing competion was a laugh a win to the 26er over the 29er a lot more air need to get the big Wheel inflated
