I'd better be there with a plan! Ah it's all in my head! it will be brilliant - hopefully I get some sleep tonight! The kids are putting me through some kinda sleep deprivation pre-Christmas novelty torture clinic or something?
We are all counting on you Harri sleep or no sleep! Iomair , that's the spirit, you show them who's boss! Caroline, no lame excuses this week about a broken bike, you have no excuse with a bike repair man under your thumb! On a side note, I got shoted at by some kind of a running coach in the Phoenix park about my light being too bright that I'm blinding people. He stood in my way on the cycle lane on a side road where its pitch dark with no street lamps as I approached him at speed downhill. Not very clever as I'm a stubborn yoke and would have plowed into him if he hadn't the sense to move out of the way at the last second. Perhaps my MTB light is too bright for regular riding..
that's forking crazy talk - too bright - That's like the guy saying we were preventing him from making his way on the trail last week, we were blocking him - there are too many fuppin' eejits in this place - a good kick in the kiwis is what they need.
I mean put yourself in that runners shoes - he goes home that night thinking to himself 'those lights were so bright it's a disgrace!, glad I told that lunatic on a bike his lights were too bright, he might have thought they weren't too bright'
total lunar probe!
That cycle path through the Park is nuts. With a standard commuter light there is parts of the track you can't see at all and on top of that you have runners and walkers who insist on "plying their trade" on a cycle path that has big bloody "No walking/runnin" signs every 200 yards. I've nearly ploughed loads of runners on that path and furthermore they don't have any lights so they've some neck saying yours is too bright... Run 'em over is what I say.
The revolution will not be televised

Totally agree hari. What do these goons be thinking of. I don't know how how they get on the right bus in the morning
You'll get stabbed on the northside for using phrases like that! Go home u blow in
Savage spin tonight gang, great route, nice bunch and the place is riding very well, so dry and its December! Nuts :)
well that was a cold one. Up over the back of Taylors is tough - that was a first for me - the cold was biting at that point, then heading for the other side of the mountain was the goal, across over to 'stage 5' which was deadly, then up Barnaculla which was muddy and very, very sticky, then stage 4, then the whale trail, end of Agro, open face, dream track and home. Very nice spin, I was tired so I wasn't at my best ha ha - had Oz all over me on the Dream track - flying.
Alan had some deadly spills - 29ers roll over everything better but not necessarily with anyone on the bike! Good to have Iomair back in the fold and great to see Dermot again - it's been too long! Caroline's flying as always not phases her! great spin, no waiting around non-stop single-track mania!
Really enjoyed that Harri. Some of those trails I have never been on before. It was just the right amount of up and down. Great group out. Good to see Iomair and Dermo back.
See u sat
