Hi Andy, no worries, hung around till 6:35pm in case you were running late.
Alfie, didn't see your message when I checked yesterday. It was funny, as I was getting ready I noticed two mountain bikers nearby that I didn't recognise but I said hello to them and continued getting ready.
It was quite windy so I sat back into my car to wait for others to arrive.
At 6:35pm I got out of the car, nobody else had arrived, so I was ready to head off on my own when I saw the same two guys waiting.
One of them asked if I was Alan and I said yes and he said Alfie sent him.
So that was a nice surprise. We had an enjoyable spin, two sound lads. We took a handy pace so that John could keep up with us.
Unfortunately I got a puncture on my back tyre. It is tubeless but the hole was so big, the sealant was spraying out. So popped a tube in it and Dave was very kind in using his gas cylinder to inflate it quickly.
Were back at the carpark by 8:30pm very satisfied . Hopefully they will come again on future spins.
