Cycled over from Ballinastoe and met Chris, Alfie, Rudolf and Dave ( Dave was late. arriving at 9.30 for a 9.30 spin, tut,tut!), blast around Djouce and road over to Ballinastoe, straight up to the top, I mean literally straight up ( bring on the xc pain!) by the round tower to the top snow covered fireroad and all the way up to the top trail, left the lads here, they headed to the Wicklow Way (would of loved to have gone but was outside of my safety zone for getting home quickly if I got the call to head to Holles St.!) I messed around Balliinastoe for another hour and headed home. You just can't beat getting out in the snow, massive craic and awesome views with the blue skies.

Deadly spin now that I can feel my feet again. That's a the snow spin ticked off for 2016. Have to say it was lovely up there and some Craic trying to cycle and loosing the front wheel is the snow. Thanks lads for going along with my crazy ideas sure it was something different.
Apart from my continuing issues with boardwalks that was a greAt spin. Thanks for a great morning on the bike. Biking on the snow covered fire roads in Ballinastoe was a laugh (I think everyone had a spill). Up over the. Wicklow way was tough going but worth it for the views. Blue sky's; when was the last time you saw those?
Mega spin. Going over the boardwalks back to djouce was super. Looked like everybody in Ireland has taken up walking. Great route by Chris. What a day snow and sun. Cheers all.
