Endurance Road Spin Saturday the 13th Feb @9.30am

MOVED TO THE FOLLOWING SATURDAY THE 13th!


Last of the very easy road spins, similar distance to the last one (80km tops).

We will be going Curragh direction, meeting at the Grangecon cafe in Blessington at 9:30.

I will confirm tomorrow if this goes ahead, I've been riddled with a man flu all week so I'll see how I feel tomorrow and decide then. Probably not going if the weather is bad.

Well, a fine morning for a spin, bit grey but the rain pretty much held off and the wind too...

Just under 87km's completed at an average of around 28kph(hills!!)

In just over 3 hours because Max insisted on stopping for food!!!

Scones and coffee's afterwards...

Surprisingly good weather considering the forecast. It's nice around Curragh for road biking and a bit hilly actually. The road to Hollywood through Dunlavin was much harder than I remembered, the top of the hill is at 500+ meters.
Good steady pace but it's quite hard with just 2 people, I'm hoping we will get some more on the next one?
