Can't unfortunately bak to work this Tuesday eve. Hopefully will get out the eve with my new shinier than shiny lights!
Well that was a wet one! Drenched by the time I got to lambs but lots of climbing to warm up. We stayed in the trees as much as possible, can't even remember all the trails we did. Didn't think I'd last that long in the rain, but nearly 3 and half hours by the time I got home. Thanks a mill Keith, I totally wouldn't have gone out if you didn't say you were going :)
Fab spin tonight. We had to climb to keep warm in that rain, and my legs can feel it now. I can't remember half the trail names -
up past the Paddocks, a few trails cris-crossing the forest to stay out of the rain, up Spartacus, then down from T-connector looking for yellow dots in the dark, Dogtown back towards the barrier, steering clear of the gorse of death, up 1 ortem, down the NPS run from the mast passing the fast crew on the tarmac before continuing on to Last Chance. Stayed on the bike despite a few roots ;-) Thanks a mil Erica for leading the way and keeping the pace up, though my legs might regret it tomorrow. I forgot to allow for the trek to/from home and the wind in my planning.
