Spin of the year 2009 again !!

My god..the previous spin of the year has now been eclipsed by the spin of the year.
Me, Alfie,Rory,Mr Smith ( Name witheld due to political shenanigans) , Rossco,Justin,Eoin,Tim,Jack,Als,Alan and Luke ( god bless the poor divil) hit out from the Gala Shop and went up the front of Ticknock, across to Toms, across Kilmashogue, up the new wickla way across the Woccas, down Mantequilla, Up Prince Willies to the mini bog of death, across the back of Curltestown and Cloon, Als got his first puncture, then he got his second..then we made it all the way to the feathrbeds , then across Cruagh, tibradden, and up the back of fairy castle and down the boneshaker..
Classic moments included..
Luke falling face first into a pool of slime ( Frog Spawn) , actually the next funny moment was when Alfie asked me was I heading home for a cup of earl Grey and when I replied No thanks , Luke asked me home for some ****! I was speechless, much to the amusement of my fellow riders.
Als had a little crazy Rumpelstilskin moment after yet another puncture, Ross had a conniption after falling into a hole on Cruagh.
We all had the craic..
everybody was savage , including Rudolf who was too savage to turn up.
Me Alfie, Als and Alan had a legend race down the boneshaker..I actually thought I was going to die at one stage..
Tim banjaxed another set of forks..
Great craic lads, pythons are the tyre of champions by the way !!
Mr. Smith told me that was deadly altogether, he said the weather and trails and craic were second to none, he said the final run down the boneshaker nearly broke him but he still went home with a big smile on his face
he also says he's fookin' wrecked after it, but says Al-wino-gummo and Alan- jelly-baby are heroes for bringing such a big stash of squidgy sweet delights and sharing them around with the gobbling savages :D
nice
not forgetting Alfie's costume malfunction/crotch explosion that left his shorts in tatters....he must've got fierce excited coming down the woccas...
that spin was fan(no dabby)dozy altogether.i love that route the climbing is savage and the descent off the featherbeds to cruagh is deadly and then the climbing is savage and then the descent from the top of fairycastle down to the cars is deadly great craic as usual and the weather was deadly roll on the summer
A real old-school Epic special that, brilliant in every sense. The dry ground made it, although one notable wet bit made it as well, sorry luke, but your wallowing skills are legendary. Hope you got all the tadpoles out of the various nooks and crannies. As for the "How about some c0ck?" comment - absolutely priceless, I don't think I've ever laughed as much, even on an Epic spin.

The climb over Killakee mountain and the descent to Cruagh Woods was really really sweet, we gotta go that way more often.

Cheers everyone - great day.
Great day! Can't believe I left Richie speechless, priceless.

I also bloody stink. Think I better shower before work tomorrow.
you haven't showered yet??!!
those tadpoles are probably inside you by now, multiplying inside your bottom, making it expand....oh no.....
you need help
they have the answer to such questions and more:

How long does it take my tad to morph?
How does my tadpole eat during metamorphosis ?

ah here - this is a classic:

Why doesn't my eco-system turn bright green ?
A blinding spin. fecking tough as always but the laughs are worth all the pain.

cheers lads

Your tadpole is undergoing dramatic changes during metamorphosis. Your Growafrog's digestive tract is changing, too... as the filter feeding tadpole becomes a 'solid food' eating frog. During metamorphosis, when it is neither tadpole nor frog, it does not eat. It gets all the nutrition it needs by using enzymes to decompose the tail...which it uses as a source of energy or 'food'

Do you think if I starved myself I could decompose some of my ass??
and the prize for the worst excuse for bailing early ever !!
" I have to go to the Celbridge St Patricks day parade !!"
decompose your ass..thats hilarious !! but you could be on to something..
and where did all the sound walkers come from..? Maybe all the cranky ones are dead..
Oh well! - there I was having read the first page thinking great, nobody mentioned the fact that I skipped off early and then.....the shame!! Apart from HAVING to get back to witness Cian's big moment, performing in front of thousands in Celbridge, I was completely knackered - I don't think 200+kms on the fixed wheel around the flatlands of Kildare over the last few days had left me with much energy. (Yea, mad I know but that's what living in Kildare does to you!) Yes it was savage but brilliant savagery in fantastic weather with an outstanding bunch of riders. Thanks all.
Doesn't quite count as a bail, but it should be mentioned that someone had to leave pretty sharpish to get to a borbeque, loike.

Fixed wheel - are you mad in the head or what Justin?!
Sorry coundnt make as the tyres of my bike were still cooling down after sundays savage race.
