Okay Im in.How could I turn down a spin with Epic's websites poster boy,and my old mate Colm P,who Im still apologising too for cursing at him a couple of Thursdays ago!!! LOL Throw in Bono's best mate and the fastest Enduro rider in Ireland over 50 and its a spin from the Gods themselves! Parking at the Veg shop and riding up.If Im not at Djouce by 9.05am go without me.
I was enlightened by Micanical after flying down xtc and up the walkers path the difference in Chris's pace literature on the forum. I misunderstood, steady is not handy and steady has a good pace on it, if it had of been handy i would of been ok i think , up up up we went and in that heat it was just torture , i really loved this spin challenging a sense of adventure and great company i just hit the wall at the start of Scar i stopped munched on food but it wasn't enough to fill the tank i couldn't go on , Colm did try to keep me on the spin but i know we still had Scar and the road back to Djouce , i called it a day and struggled back to Djouce via the road hallucinating about food all the way back i was disappointed i couldn't go on maybe next time ....great spin lads thanks a million and Chris for leading ,some new trails for me delighted , more long distance spins needed for me ...great day on the bike. Great to see Mickkky over this neck of the woods
Good honest report there Rasher.I struggled home myself for the last 12km or so.Weather was hot,trails were dry,great company from yourself,Chris,Colm and Enduro Mick,but the 1650m of climbing took its toll!!
I need longer MTB spins myself.We all must take advantage off this fine dry weather.

Jaysus lads are yous new to this club? When someone who races S1/A3 says âSteadyâ that means a quick pace and little stopping!
Yes yes good point Graham but Chris hasn't been on his mtb all winter and he was on multiple stag parties and weddings over the last few weeks so we thought he would be Banjacksed, obviously Chris can still go like a Bull on amphetamine with a carbon gate strapped to him.next time i will bring tranquilizer gun with me .
Ah rasher, I'll bring you on a proper Sunday spin, 'steady' pace while chatting about the joys of life! Sure I bet they didn't even have coffee and scones, like what sort of people don't have scones on a Sunday!
