Well folks that was tough in places . I started by turning up late for my own spin ... thank you for waiting . We took in romper stomper team work forest cut through to Toms shed and up to Pennyfeather where we lost Dave M ( hope your ok kiddo , I went back screaming your name like a jilted lover ) then up metro backwards where we talked politics I was raging about SF . Anyways we put a stop to that and when up the front the fairy castle where I watched mighty Mick and Massy Paterson the little tractors motor up the mountain. Myself and Alzer looked on at the Impressive nature of these machines . From the top down the front with a cross wind making jumping the bike down the rocks and gaps to woka wokkas a touch sketchy. Myself and Mickanical paid the price for our spirited blast and got a triple puncture. Mick front and back and my back . Gas craic change them while Alzer had a look at the stars on his back given tips in the distance. We picked ourselves up from the frozen ground and headed to legends xc and Alfonzos trails home which I did a quarter in the dark ... new lights required. Big thanks to the boys for lifting my spirits and getting out for a lolly good time old boy .
Congratulations to the lovely couple Colm and Ann on the recent engagement. Bout time wha ! Says Ann x
Nice rip around. That was tough luck with the punctures. I felt so stupid at the end after waiting around for you too to fix your punctures when I was supposed to have already taken detour back to car parked at biking.ie as the way you were going to finish up would take me too far away from the car.
Thanks for coming out in the cold.
What happened to you David? When I cycled past you, everything seemed fine.
Snagged the power cord out of the light on a tree. By the time I got it working again ye were gone. Climbed up through the forest and up the road to the masts. When I couldn't find ye there I headed over to the top of toms in case you were coming up that way. Enjoyed the view out over Dublin, got cold and headed home.
