Great loop around Masssy's, Cruagh, Tibradden last night. Lawdie kindly appointed Ben as spin leader, so some climbing was on the cards. The rain in recent days made Massy's the perfect sliddery climb to start with. Then straight up the stream/rocks (that's a downhill!) to the top of Cruagh for the fun to start. Gumbert, Ass Craic, Swan Sandwich, Legends, Ray Purchase ... deadly. Rain mostly held off. Great group out - Ben, Lawdie, Rytis, Mal, Keith. Rytis' first Wednesday spin - a baptism by fire, but no bother on any trails. Thanks all!
Thanks Keith for the run through, but understating the climbing! It was schlomp heaven last night and heavy wheels with every pedal, masseys climb never ended, Mal landed 20 metres off the track at Gumbert and ended up like an upside down tortoise, I nearly faceplanted on the same trail but ended up elbows deep in a sludge muck pool. Poor Rytis never seen as many sniper roots in his life and Keith just slide everywhere, Ben was Ben (the B@stard). And the river - a river enough said, So all in all, a fooking amazing great evening, if you weren't out you missed out. Enjoy tonight boys and girls.
