Good spin tonight. Weather was a bit crap to say the least but once in the woods, ye never knew! Myself, Karl, Shane, and Cathal headed off to the leadmines, and after ripping through the Boxing ring (no dabbing by anyone!!) decided it wasn't worth going up to the top of Cathys, so headed back over to Barneys and had a laugh there before finishing off on that wicked decent. deadly Buzz. Fair play to all who turned up. It wasn't very inspiring looking out the window at 6.30.

Thank god for trees, every time we ventured into the open I just wanted to go home. That's the worst conditions since the blizzards in february.

That rocky descent over in Barneys was savage with all those big black slippy snakes hiding between the rocks trying to knock you off . Glad I didnt go home early.

Well worth goin out,pace was steady and no mechanicals thank god.Everyone found it hard to get used to wet root slippyness again after trusting roots for the last few weeks.Not the night for anyone nursing injuries as we all hit the deck at some stage .Went into palmers after for snack and warm up,Great

Went up the Leadmines for a quick spin yesterday evening and was all over the place - slippin' and slidin' everywhere! Just when I thought I was getting the hang of it - ah well back to the drawing board!

That lashing was good for us, all the sun and dust was going to our heads.
