Sunday 26th April - Djouce - 9.30am

Going to try and cover a bit of ground on Sunday - assuming weather is OK. Starting in Djouce at 9.30am - doing some of our favourite Djouce Trails - "long grassy climb" - cross country to Ballinastoe - NPS Course (no only joking!) - a couple of Ballinastoe trails - back to Djouce by road. If the weather is not good we'll stay local in Djouce and do the Trail Challange course!
Pace will not be Savage (obviously with me involved!) but will be steady.
Hey Richard, I'll be there! 9.30 these spins are getting earlier and earlier, Sunday is a day of rest, or it used to be before I got hooked on this mtb thing, look forward to it!!

See you Leadmines thursday eve!!
what trails in ballinastoe did you have in mind?i cant decide between 9.30 and 10.00 spin on sunday
Don't know how fast/fit you are Jackson? Ours will be a steady spin - Jack and the guys will be going at a good deal faster pace! In terms of trails in Ballinastoe - I guess we'll see what time we get over there, what the weather is like, who's with us etc.
I'll be along Richard, I think Andrew is around too although I'm sure he'll cofirm himself. At least I'll be able to criticize your choice of route this time!!!!
Definately happening - we'll decide in the morning whether to head over to B'stoe or stay local in Djouce - 9.30am Djouce Lower Car Park!
Great Spin! Myself, Llandai, Smithers and Andrew (new member).
Usual suspects in Djouce - Red Road - Wicklow Way to Ballinastoe (harder than I remember it!) - Bit of the Blast - Dafydd Trail - Bit more of the Blast - Road back to Humpy Bit before Middle Car Park - Horrible Schlompy Bit to top of XTC (some really deep, really smelly puddles!!) - XTC (again) - Car Park.
No rain or hanging around! Darragh flying on his new "weight weenie" S-Works on the climbs - Llandai showing why 6" of travel makes sense on the descents - Myself and Andrew "hanging in there"!
Thanks Guys really enjoyed it!
Great spin, nice to do something new and long. Weather was great too not a gust of wind or drop of rain for once. 1636 cals burned that 14st mile stone is looking good.

Cheers Richard,John,Andrew
Yea, great spin, thanks guys. Took me about 5k to get used to the bouncy bike after the hardtail! It felt completely alien.
Nice one, that spin is always longer and harder than you remember. The top car park to XTC sure does stink, I am sure there is a dead MTB'er in one of those puddles.
