Djouce to ballinastoe via the boardwalks and back again with a few other bits thrown in on the way! Expect min 3 hours. Post if u r coming !

Deadly spin this morning with Shona, Colm and Jason. Great to see Colm back after the lockdown.
Starting off with a row in the carpark as to which direction we were going ( road to ballinastoe or road back..), sense prevailed and we headed up into djouce. After a couple of local trails we headed up the red road and across to the Wicklow way for the climb up towards djouce. After a break and a chat with some nice walkers we descended into ballinastoe and into the forest. After wandering around clueless for a bit we met John Fagan and headed off for a deadly loop of the POG. Trials were riding great with some nice features . Eventually we emerged back into ballinastoe and headed for the expressway and the long descent to the bottom. John headed off and after some lovely coffee we hit the road for the trip back to djouce but only after talking Jason out of heading back up and over the boardwalks back the way we came !
Along the road, back into djouce and along the trail by the road and the very fast descent to the carpark.
Great to be out in the hills with some super views on the way over to ballinastoe. Thanks to the crew for coming, need to get back to ballinastoe more often. Thanks all !

Yes, I am back and there is the photographic evidence, (thanks Mick!) First Epic spin in a while and it was a classic old school Sunday Spin. I was looking forward this and it didn't disappoint. Great craic with Mick, Shona and Jason, thanks again lads!.
