Heading for the Cooley’s this week for xc spin around parts of the Triller course all bike types welcome

Another Terry classic, how could anyone miss out on a spin around the Cooley's!?

Only Keith was brave enough to face the open mountain, but decided as soon as he hit the mountain trails to use his knee to stop the bike on a downhill section!
Patched up and off we went, Terry shepparded Keith up to the TV masts and down afterwhich keith had enough of us and went to the car, Terry turned on the afterburners and away we went over dry trails, up around down and back....
Lovely coffee and cake after!

Thrillling morning chasing the two wild bulls of Cooley, but felt like the fatted calf myself. I’d never been before and wasn’t disappointed. Terry treated the spin as a recce for the Thriller - pointing out all the climbs that we (thankfully) shortcutted.
Great views and some great open mountain trails. Weather was perfect. I couldn’t keep up with the bulls so bailed at 25km, finding a sneaky trail on the way back. Finished up with coffee, tray bake, and chat at Lumpers. Thanks guys for a great day out, and for the breaks.

Hope no lasting damage to the body Keith, some lump on your shin bone from checking out the dry dusty ground conditions hope the swelling continues to go down

As promised 2.45 moving time and back by at 1.40 ahead of schedule

Starting/Finishing from Lumpers to be recommended safe parking either pay 3euro or buy something
Good coffe cakes available or drink from the bar with tonnes of pinic benches well spresd out to have a rest before heading home plus loos

Found today so good looking forward to my next trip up really enjoyed being out in the open hills with fantastic views moving along up hill down dale on top class tracks and sheep trails
