The craic was had! Rain held off and we managed to string together all the best that djouce had to offer. Neville lost his bananas early on, on bench cut, but he soldiered on regardless. Some pretty loose trails with all the dust, but that just added to the fun. Myself and neville thought we were total legends till we ended up skidding into some ferns! Jason cleared the rocks on some trails for the others to follow, niamh is smashing the descents, nearly lost Keith to a flat pedal incident, but the skills saved him! Everyone was flying, thought I had a puncture at one stage, turns out it was just a leaf or a pine cone stuck in the mud guard 697m of climbing to the car park, so we had to do a lap around the cars to make it even, except neville who went back hunting for bananas, to find they weren't squashed or eaten by bears, happy ending to the spin

Enduro Erica came out to play today, cracker of a spin down the steepest sh!t she could find, nobody show her that new cliff trail... great spin thanks for leading us around Erica. Think we need to update our mental djouce trail maps, many of our favourite xc trails from yesteryear don't seem to be used much, but anything which is a straight line down the hill is well worn. Djouce riding amazing in the dry, stage 5 the highlight for me, such fun.

What a morning! Rolled out at 9, back at 12. Low cloud ruled up a climb to Djouce summit and film crew kept us out of Powerscourt, so we stuck to the forest. Some collection of steep descents today. Neville egging Enduro Erica on to even steeper and looser trails! Legs gone by the last couple of trails. Enjoyed that. Thanks all!!

Can't believe Strava - “This was easier than your usual effort”. WTF!

Haaaaa you must have been cruising around, and you could still talk on the climbs so couldn't have been that hard
