Caroline running a spin up to 3 rock but need a change of scenery, last 5 spins at 3 rock (sorry Caroline!!). Plan on a few trails at Djouce, over to Maulin and back over down Irn Bru back into Djouce. About 25km roughly, 2.5 to 3 hrs.
Didn't quiet hit the 25km but sure felt like it with the climbing! Wrecked after that. Perfect day and me and Al were sweating with our winter jackets, hid them in the bushes for the return leg somewhere above the waterfall.
Not so much Djouce but more crone. Started off on xtc and phantom then headed over and up to crone where we did mars. Unfortunately lost Caroline McC then as she'd forgotten her helmet and borrowed a spare I had but was too loose and blocking her vision on the descents. Hope you got back OK Caroline!
Back up the switchbacks to do alpine and drifter, Seymour river trail then up crone and over into Djouce for a bit of yoga near stage 5! Down stage 5 and finished off on gran canaria and outlaw.

Thanks Tony for the lend of the helmet & I got back to djouce no bother thanks. Don't know what I'm like this week for forgetting things lights, helmet, what next my cycling shoes lol? Tried to loosen the straps on the helmet as my breathing was even worse than usual on the climbs felt a little bit choked, then the helmet was wobbling a lot on the descents so called it a day. Anyway thanks for waiting on me hope u all had a good one!
What a day yesterday. Was not expecting sunshine and that heat. Felt like the middle of summer. When I got home I was told there was no sunshine at all there, just cloudy and some rain. So we were very lucky.
It's always a good laugh on these Saturday spins. You can talk about anything e.g.. Don't mistake toothpaste for Chamois Creme or you will have a pain in yer hole lol
The importance of cleaning the water bag in your camelback from time to time.
Great route you took us on Tony, really enjoyed all the trails. So much harder now with all the wet mucky trails very slippy.

I never banged my toe as badly as that on a spin before, rock hidden in the grass on outlaw. I was expecting it to be hanging off. I was afraid to take off my sock when I got home. The second smallest toe was swollen and purple but I could still move it, so not broken thankfully. Much better this morning.
