What a fab spin to mark Caroline's birthday. Rain stayed away. Trails not too schlompy. A bit of wind on the fire roads. Climbs to challenge the legs, trails to challenge my nerve. Buzzing after that - the highlight of my week. Thanks ladies!

Great spin, myself, birthday girl Murphy, Sarah, graham and keith. Managed to string together a few skiddy wet trails, nearly lost an eye on stage 5, and Caroline's leg nearly fell off, but we kept going. I was spent by that last rocky climb. Sarah is flying up the climbs, next stage is to push you down something steep ha.

They're very relaxed in Bear Paw. Wear your dry robes or pyjamas - it seems they let anyone in.
