The lads now know that when I say adventure, it means I don't know where we are going! Ben got there early, and did some intervals, and Glenn was in recovery mode after a wedding, I'll say no more! Went up though Massey's, couple trails in cruagh, out the Tues loop direction, some blue bin climb, rocky climb by prince willies, baby face, up to Glencree, feather beds, I thought it would be a great ol idea to go up to river run, my legs disagreed, so we passed and went down the Dublin mountains way. I was all over the shop on the descents, I blame the 30psi, but it gave Dave a good aul laugh. Over 1000m of climbing, haven't done that in years, Relaxed pace, fab company, smell of gorse and sunshine, what more could you ask for. thanks guys. Back to the big bike next week

Great spin on a class sunny day. Erica might have thought the pace was handy but I was feeling it. Not helped by going to a wedding on Friday, I was still a bit shook from the start. Lots of climbing and somehow only one descent which was baby face , which is always worth it. Bit of a roady spin for a while towards the end then coasted back to the car via masseys. Great spin in the sun. Glenn missed the memo regarding the Lycra and turned up in full baggies. Off into the hills for a bit of 'no not this trail… ah sure we're here now we may as well do it'. First time down baby face for me - very nice. I bet it's as good in reverse. The spin in the sun over the featherbed's was glorious, great views and Ben chasing roadies like a rabbid squirrel. Finished off with a nice fast spin back the road to home where I ate the fridge. Classic.
