I have to be back a bit earlier so can’t join Oscar in Djouce. Going to do an earlier spin at 9am. Starting in Crone car park, up and down Crone a few times then over to Lackan woods via river run and Wicklow way for some of those trails and back to the car park.
I’m there, first club spin since last year. So if you need to fly off please do. I know my way round. Always fun in Crone and surrounds. Bringing my lesser travel trail bike so I’m not having too much fun (lies; way lighter for the climbs)
Just myself and Harri out and an awesome spin. Sun beaming, bone dry dusty trails. Trails were riding fast. Did a few loops up the top sections, I got a puncture half way down Alpine so had to go back up and do it again. Also spent some time trying to dial in a new DVO shock. on the last loop we went from Mars down to the road, Harri had headed off, fair play, first big spin in a long time. Riding like a legend. I headed over the other side to Knockree then back to the car park to the coffee van for a coffee and one of their mega oat bars - savage morning altogether.
