That was a brilliant spin, those trails in Hush are just class. I did feel more confident today wearing the knee and elbow pads.

We almost ran over a tiny dog on a fast descent; an old man and woman were walking up an mtb trail as we came tearing down with the little dog elvis off the lead. They picked him up out of the way for Jon, and then put him down on the trail again in front of me just as I was coming down after Jon. Lucky we were not going too fast.
We did most of the trails and even drank water from a small waterfall.
Pity there wasn't a better turnout, I guess it's the distance and getting back late.
We could do 9am start next time if that gets more takers?

I love hush, it's such a class place. I thought it was going to be wet and muddy after all the rain but no, I didn't even need to wash the bike. Just myself and Al so we done a bit of sessioning here and there. It was good to see Al with some protection. Luckily he didn't need it.
We got about 20k and over 900m in.
I met some other lads afterwards and went for a second spin. I was shown a new trail with skinnys, table tops and some class steep flow berm sections.
