Ok if anyone would like to join in on this steady spin.. gonna start at Ballinastoe and head up to the top to the boards, across the wiclow way to djouce and back to Ballinastoe along the road, nice bit of climbing and a nice bit of decending.
It got dark very early last week so i'm gonna bring some lights just in case.
Fair play Gaz your de man, Do you know the blast course? Might be a bit of craic and you wont need lights!I think that the spin your talking about is a bit much for a thursday night but if your up to it, Enjoy!!!!
Yeah the blast course is cool, was on it last sat, good fun and well worth keeping in mind. I did the spin a few weeks back but the other way around, didn't take to long, once your up the fire track in b/stoe and onto the boards it's pretty much all down hill to the top car park in djouce, should be ok but see how people feel on the evening. Just fancy doing something different.
Deqadly, just have to rob a set of lights from the cycle superstore now, lovely set of Light & Motion one there today, a snip at €369. I think I'll rob one for the head and one for my arse, will look class the next time I come a cropper, like a firework!!!

you could always buy some marine flares attach them to the back of the bike and light them, them bomb it downhill like a rocket bike!
Ya don't realy need the lights brian, it's kind of a just in case situation, we'll be fine, it will take no longer than a normal tuesday spin i promise neya neya neya neyaaaaaaaa
totally second that..... that was an awesome spin, cheer gary! usual blah thru b'stoe then up over the sleepers, jasus it was like february again with the cloud coming in on us and teh wind trying to knock you off.. an awesome fast decent into djouce, everyone was flying til rhinestone literally did fly over the handle bars..
finished off down the side of Djouce to the top car park and a handly road spin back to the cars
Ahh Rhinestone Rimmer you are an entertainer a waste as an electrican,I must come along on one of these spins Just to watch you Rimrod!!! Seriously though you need to start taking it easy it's all fun and games now but if someone gets hurt it's a different story. Fair play to Gaz for taking out the spin,I hope princess didn't take over too much!!
Na she was great, took it easy on us lol. Thanks to everyone who came out in that crappy weather, realy enjoyed the spin, been dying to do that run for ages and couldn't have asked for a better group of people to do it with. Those walkers on the boards must have thought we were mental, they were heading down in full rain gear and we were heading up in sleavless tops and shorts lol, the looks on there faces were pricless.
This is the s**t I'm talkin about, Beaumont A&E, stitches, skangers, sex and the city and a Muslim bird hiding her eyes. Seriously though, I'm fine just a nasty cut will need a couple of stitches. Great spin Lads, you're right though darragh, I do need to hold back the enthusiasm a bit, injuries are my limit switches though. I'll be savage in no time if I ignore the adrenaline!
