It's as rough as fcuk up this end so i can only assume it will be worse up there, loads of floods around here too, i'm gonna give it a miss after all, sorry Jack.

We had a swing set in the garden last night, it's not there anymore!

No hanging about this morning. I got there a little late to see everyone heading up the road. Kinda glad i'm not out in that though.

well thats was a great wet and wild spin. fair paly to all who turned out, lost Shona and Alan at the start. thought they would catch up with us but never happened. :(

even some trail buildings were out in the rain, looking after the trails for everyone. the rest of you who stayed in should be ashamed ...

Yeah, they're buggers for leaving folk behind. I snapped the chain on the road on the way out, Shona was kind enough to stop as well, the rest bated on, got to the forest, there they weren't... Thought a certain hoopy lad was going to tell Jack & Co we had a mechanical and would they mind waiting a minute, obviously some part of this faultless plan was faulty. We did a lap of the club course, good fun if a bit puddly, met two lads we didn't know going the wrong way, then Luke and Richie and co digging, then at the bottom of Barneys/the Scalp we met Richie Fehill and friends. Crappy conditions, but good to be out. Sorry to have missed out on the official spin, hope it was good. Gotta love the Leadmines, anywhere else would have been pure misery in those conditions.

Edit: wouldn't you know Jack would get his post up while I typed mine!

i think you meet the trail workers before us? you must have leaped froged us when we did the quary.

Fair play to anyone who was out in that crap today, and an even bigger fairplay to lads who were up the leadmines digging!!!!

Respect to all that braved it.Took two newbies Brendan and Ian out to do a lap of ballinastoe which was hard with rain and wind but the lads did great and loved it.The water on trails was unbelievable and introduced us to the new sport of mtb surfing.Despite crap conditions carpark was full of people heading out some with no jackets and wearing shorts. Glad we went out well done to the lads ready for sat spins soon.
