Now , its about to get tougher.
We have several ferocious beasts , several fierce beasts and several beasts.
the spins have gotten too big to manage at night trying to keep everybody together.
So heres the plan of action.
1st. I'll post up the spin with the route.
2nd. When I say 7.00 I mean leaving at 7.00.
3rd. there will be no stopping.
4th. hook up with at least one training partner so that you are not alone in the dark.
Some of you have invested a lot of time in to getting fit for the NPS ahead and I don't want to start levelling off with the training. We have to start going further and adding road sections in to the spins.
Come March it will be lambe Doyles to Curtlestown every Tuesday and back on the road.
February will see most spins in Djouce and the leadmines and places where we are doing loops.
Bear in mind lads and ladies that some people are just stronger and faster and its unfair to
them to be held back.
If you have any questions or require and extra help with your training let me know, i'm always available to give tips and advice to people who want it,
Richie ( With serious Coaching Head attached)
ps stupid comments will be deleted.
Where the hell does that leave me, I'm not as fast as the very fast and I am faster than the slower lads, Fk sake it's school all over again piggy in the bleedin middle!!! I dont mind goin on me own once the route is not changed half way through, I like to try and at least keep the faster lads in sight also gives me something to try and catch!!
I' at your pace, and willing to join you two. but I'm out less than the lezzer.....
I plan to die trying to keep up with that Byrne lad though. fecked if he' ditching me that easy.....
Well I guess I'm going to have to try and get out more often so!! I've missed the last few Sundays alright but once the winter dh league is over hopefully that'll change..
lads the pace is killing some people at the moment, i don't want them to fall off if they are not enjoying it. You're fine at the fast pace Smithers.
But people have to enjoy these spins for them to be of any benefit. Do whats just past your comfort stage.
We won't be changing the spin routes half way through, this is a strategy, Alfie, Damo and myself came up with.
RichardL will be the back marker guy.
Don't be put off if you can't hack the pace at the front. drop back and try again the following session.
The beauty of spins like Lambes to Curtlestown is that its one big loop.
Djouce if you hang around or use some cop on we'll cross paths.
Talk to me in person before the spin if you have any concerns.
Smithers, you're well able to keep up.
You really get away with murder, Getting to go at the back,do half of the worst spin ever last night, run around the leadmines in your nip, ok not in your nip but with your bike broken and still get points, favoritism!!
