Yeah Right!!!!

That was one very fast,wet hour in Djouce!! Fair play to all the brave barbarians that took on tonight.

Thats all I'll say...everbody out tonight should get a medal..at one stage there was just me, Adamski, Alfie and Damo riding up a river outside the fence in Djouce..
Fair play to RichardL being the Tailgunner..
Unfortunately the planned spin didn't happen and as the climbs are much longer in Djouce we got split up all over the place.
For me its great to get stuck in without looking back, i had a great spin , thanks guys.
Remember these are not social spins they are xc training spins and are meant to be fierce.
So fair play to everybody.
Max is some savage, we've definitely replaced Als with ADski..

All im short of is a few Phd's,masters and every other one of them thingys!!

Well that was deadly craic, it was like a giant game of hide and go seek, DaveK, RichardL and me were belting around trying to intercept lights in the distance, met up with Shona, Rusty Ring, Steve and others before eventually meeting Richies group, you guys got away from us on the way to XTC, we were nearly going for another lap . . . well done everyone, savage stuff altogether !

good man Dave..you hit the nail on the head there..being able to see the lead group and chasing after them will get you ready for race time!!!

Feckin Bike let me down tonight again with this chain suck!!!!!!! It only happens on tech steep climbs very frustrating!!!!!!! I was feeling good and full of energy too, then I lost sight of yeh's and headed to the dry lake instead of turning down Robins trail and that was the end of that, good to get out though.

I thought that grass/river was alive and was trying to pull me back, soooo sticky!
As one point I thought we (me and Smithers) lost the leading group but we caught up in the end.

Tell me one thing though, if we had gone up Maulin and done the longer route as planned, would the pace be as fast? I'm not sure if I would last another 2h at that pace....

it would have gotten faster because I was making tonight up as I went along...Alfie made us wait, by the way so you guys could catch up!!.
I intend to do maulin every Thursday. It just would have been cruelty tonight.

Well after tonights fiasco we need to re-think the Savage spin. I need someone to chase or I will give up and go home. Pick a route and do it 2/3/4 times for a 3 hr spin. i lost sight of you after robins trail but saw you going up towards the steep climb to the middle car park. I would keep trying to catch you all night, once I knew where you went!! Anyway when my bike is sorted there will be no dropping of the Smithers yeh feckers!!! I think that was one of the worst spins i've been on. Is Alfies complaint dept open?

That was an interesting spin, Djouce is in bits and the weather was grim. Took a wrong turn in the mist and rain on the earls drive and it was catch up from there.. It was like a Bizarre treasure hunt for the rest of the evening, but as i said on Tue "if it dont kill me, it must make me better" Good crack all the same...

we couldn't do the planned spin because of the weather..I broke you and you can't deal with it.
You're not the first and you won't be the last.I had no problem setting a ferocious pace and keeping it up.
I'm nearly 60.
This is EPIC..its not Cabinteely Old womens bingo and fany Knitting club!!
Tuesdays will be Lambe doyles to Curltestown and back on the road.
Thursdays will be Djouce and maulin.
Don't start that fookin moaning because you couldn;t get the blood out of your eyes and see where you are going..
Max was able to keep up and hes not even Irish!
Rusty would kill all of you if he had a Carbon XC bike!
RichardL would be the next John Doris if he had the mind and body of John Doris,
I loved that spin because I didn't have to think about anybody else but myself..
for a change !!
Theres no clubs out there full of people like me..who do I chase when im up the front ?

maybe you should take up cyclocrotchrot then you could slither around a couple of football fields and convince yourself you're a real man! and it'll be all over in 45 mins!
Pick yourself up and try and crease The Old Man on Sunday..take that anger and disappointment and turn it in to some kind of outerspace disease that turns you in to a Savage of biblical proportions !!

OK, Old man RL is in trouble!!! I will hopefully have a full functional bike,eyes and ass will bleed haahhaha!!!
