saturday crack spin

I am posting on behalf of a couple of mates who want to go out tomorrow morning.
they are wondering is ballinastoe rideable? and is there a crack squad spin organized.?

I thought the Saturday spins were back to normal with Richie

I brought a few beginners around ballinastoe there last week and it was fine, bit slompy in places where the snow hadn't fully melted but other than that not too bad.

I'm sure richie will reply with regards to the craic/savageness of the saturday spin.

Speaking of bringing mates out on spins, does anyone know a decent place to hire bikes near the city? Non of the people who I'm trying to get interested in the sport have their own bike so we're generally limited to ballinastoe due to the nearby bike hire. They have great fun on the singletrack but generally get quite pissed off by all the fire road climbs - especially the first one out of the carpark and I have a hard time persuading them to come back.

I'd love to bring them around leadmines or maybe GoD to get them a taste of something a bit more like the general fun stuff we ride and hopefully persuade them to buy a bike and come on a beginner spin from there. Unfortunately I havn't had much like finding places nearby that hire bikes.

Thats the thing..Saturdays are craic spins, however I have to have heard about you on the craic spins or you are a regular to be able for them. We can't have people holding the show up on Saturdays as there can be up to 30 people on them. I'm sorry Terry but unless you are sure the lads can keep up then its a no.
The EPIC craic spinners are savage enough you know.

Ian went up today to Ballinastoe and said it was hard going due to snow.
He has been out every saturday on his tod for the last couple of months
so hopefully will be up for the saturday crew.
so best thing is to get them out on beginner spin next week,
so they can be graded so to speak.
At the rate i'm going i'll be there too,fecking sinus bug has me floored.
so doubt i'll be out tomorrow.

Terry, I'm goiing to be organising Coaching and guiding for beginners/improvers. I'll take the two boys out some Saturday soon on a loop to help them improve,

I think he will be a deadly one,as very committed,not too sure about bren,as he is too busy.
Really can't wait to get out with you myself when whinge fest is over,fecking dying of exhaustion for no reason?
