Some of us are heading out to the Glen of Imall early this Saturday, plan of digging for a few hours then riding for a few more. Will be out there from 9:00 if anyone would like to join us. There are plenty of tools out there, but if you have some planks you can spare we could find a home for them. We will be digging in the middle section, then riding in the top section. The mission is to get some of the flat peddaly bits turned into fast pumpy bits.
For management of effort and all that it would be good to know if people would like to head out on Sunday, with pretty much the same plan. I will be out there Saturday regardless, but other can do Sunday instead if there is the Interest.
Just let us know.

I havent purchased a DH bike yet but im sure the trail bike will be alright for a day
Will be in Wales this weekend but realy looking forward to giving this track a go, will head up and sort out them stumps and trees when i'm back too.

Iâm looking forward to digging, I have been itching to dig a good hole for ages.
There's a big mound of dirt up there with your name written all over it. You'll want to warm up the old barrow guns for tomorrow, don’t want to injure yourself this close to the start of the season.
Iâm diggin, your on barrow duty,
I want to chop a tree down with a shovel. Using mattocks for the purpose is becoming boring.
Thatâs not a problem, I know just the one you can go at. Your not using my shovel though.
I picked up some rips of ply and 4'x2" at work but never thought of how they were to be attached together. So if someone could bring a hammer and a few nails that would be usefull.
Im gonna be up for this, If any1 coming up happens to have a shortish stem for 31.8mm bars that I could borrow for the riding part of this day I would appreciate it.
Please dont make me ride DH with a 100mm stem!!

Had a good days work today, got most of the slow sections in the middle shored up and lashed a rake of hardcore in. Then rode up and down the hill a few times. Thanks to everyone who made it out.
Will do the same again next saturday, a bit of riding, a bit of digging etc. Will be up there from 9:00, will be on the bottom section this time.
