Intermediates at 7.15 same location, if the fast lads are already timing their laps - it might not do us any harm . . . I'll be in SPDs (schexy) - I may need a stiff drink before-hand. . .

now folks..this is a handy spin for savages..a warm up for the weekend..if you have an all mountain bicycle bring it !!if you want to save your legs bring the XC bike..if you want to stay at home hoovering stray hairs off your head or go to bingo ..then do that , no caning but no hanging around..

Sorry Byrner Got there early so decided to go and do a few laps of the club course, Jeasus it's wet up there but the course is riding deadly. I saw Lynchie at one stage shouted hello got a hello back and that was that, great craic......

We lost Mel, Phil and Ronan..I was too busy trying to get Max to **** off ramming me to notice they were missing until we got to the bottom of the Boxing ring, then I had to split ..

a great spin, was flying around the place, i was going out on the bike what ever the weather but feck me it was wet and slippy tonight
jasus that was wet, if you feel off tohight you would have drowned!. Lost ye after the first climb was able to keep up but ye took a different turn to me. I met up with the others and left them with Migel. Ended up doing 4 and half laps at race pace....Turned into a training session....Roll on saturday, hopefully I'l be dry then.
Yes...very wet bu still great fun! The big bike needs a lot of hard pedaling on the climbs but I'm always amazed how much traction on roots and rocks I can get on it without getting out of the saddle, very comfy.

The intermediates had a great spin, we did some sessioning on the tight turns & the log jump and that, everyone was flying, it was great too see everyone riding the course without dabbing - considering the wetness.
It was my first night club spin in SPDs - must say I enjoyed them, great for the climbing alright - way more in the tank when you get to the top of the climb than on the flat-peddals.
Had fun chasing Alfie up the fireroad when the 2 groups met, jaysus he's fast! Poor Rhinstone tried to jam 4 months training into one week & was feeling it last night, AndyW is flying, Simo - well need we say more (banger - kidding!), Faro - always fast, just biding his time until the moment to strike!
To be honest that was a class night spin, class, I really enjoyed it, great bunch of lads, great technical ability - some of us are just missing the secret ingredient - speed. . . (okay, not so secret).

Yes Sir Drill Sergeant Harrington Sir, you're some hard task master. One dirty spin that though, great craic like a little troup of mucky piggies trekking around in the dark. Have to say I was shagged for that spin, the usual all or nothing approach, no spins for weeks and then 4 in less than a week. Fair dues to AndyW and Llandai for the hair cut on the gorse, it's like a motorway now. Great laugh when we met the savages, I'm sure RichardL felt like giving me a kick in the mouth for the abuse I gave him, the laugh was on me though as he left me for dust up the hill and me fit to calf. Roll on the clocks going back it'll be great to be out on the bike I'm the bright. Again big thanks to Commandant John for organising last night.
