We are heading out to the Glen of Imall again early this Saturday, plan of digging for a few hours then riding for a few more. Will be out there from 9:00 if anyone would like to join us. There are plenty of tools out there, no need to bring anything else. We will be digging in the bottom section, then riding in the top section and middle. The mission is to get some new lines and features into the gully at the end. Some jumps, berms, twisty bits and stuff.
I should be out this weekend to lend a hand if the shoulder feels up to it, hopefully be able to handle the big bike and some digging for a day.
I had a shovel and mattock in Cloon the weekend of the race, I couldn't see them on Sunday when I was riding through there, are they in Imaal or still in Cloon does anyone know? Cheers.
I think myself and cummins picked them up on the way down clearing up on the Sunday, were they about halfway down the top section, if so we gave them to Sean.
Yep there a pile of tools brought out from Cloon, probably out there. There are loads of tools out there, I have no ideal who owns half them. People should really start putting their names on them. Infact I am bringing a load of âSeanâ sticker up so they will all be mine.
Greg I brought any tools that were left in Cloon (all behind the big rock with the wall ride thingy) down to the Glen. There were definitely unidentified shovels and mattocks. The usual assumption is that things are belonging to the club, which is probably how I lost my mattock at the Blast.
Right thats grand then, I'll have a look in the pile on Saturday then. I just need some tools for the pumptrack, it hasnt had a shovel near it all winter and has been ridden everyday so is getting bumpy in bits but not as much as you'd think....
where abouts in the Glen are these trials - my back garden looks onto them...would be great to not have to drive 30 miles everytime I want to head out for a spin! I can't get up this weekend but if you are still digging next weekend I will happily help out
