Hmm, just gave the shop a call there and it looks like my bike won't be ready for this evening, bit annoying :/

I now have a foolproof excuse to buy a second bike, next step the ability to afford one :P

I won't be joining youse tonight. I was working outside all day today and I just can't face heading out again.

I've often faced that problem of working outside all day in crap weather and not wanting to go out in it again on the bike. When I did manage to drag myself out it was always worth it, you'll always have the craic no matter what the weather. Oh, and Gaz has special pills as well, hope he shares them...

That, my friends, was deadly. Big crowd out too despite the predicted bad weather, which coincidentally failed to show up, the loser. Fair play to Gaz for his leadership, Cathal for his deputy leadership, John for not giving up on the old SPD's, and Alan, Gav, Derek & Andy for braving the elements. AndyW, tsk,tsk,tsk, you disappoint me my friend. Here's to Thursday, spin 7 in less then 2 weeks, Lynchie better watch his back, I'll be gunning for him before long.

Deadly spin, xc is growing on me afther every outing, just have to get myself some proper tyres so i wont be doing 100 metre long burnouts up barnaslingan, felt like i was on a turbotrainer at one stage, and them deadly cuby chip things in palmers to finish it off deadly deadly deadly......

Yeah SPDs they're hard work in those conditions, I managed to fall off going down the boxing ring & got my knee caught between the front tyre and frame, I can't even imagine how that happened? I think a tree got in my way.

the quarry trail is amazing, so quick, nice! Great to see loads out in such not-so-nice conditions, great buzz about everyone. . .

Yeah, great fun spin, thanks everyone for the craic. I really didn't want to get out of the car it was that cold, but once we were halfway up Barney's it didn't seem bad at all. Club course holding up well despite the conditions. Quarry trail a great blast as always, one or two little mishaps but everyone survived. The final descent through Barnaslingan with practically zero visibility in the mist, being chased by the baying hounds of Tynan, Egan and O'Connell will live with me a long time...

And yeah, Golden Ball Fries are the pooch's plums.
