Starting tomorrow I'm going to lead a Tuesday Intermediate XC spin. This spin is aimed at people who are keen to improve their fitness and speed but aren't ready for the relentless pressure of the Savage spins. The pace will be steady and the aim will be to ride without stopping - as fast as we can on the climbs and descents, slowing down to regroup on the flatter sections.
I'll be posting the spin every Sunday but I will be cajoling some of the senior club members to make occassional "guest" appearances to lead a spin on a route of their choice to add a bit of variety!
I've decided to start in the Leadmines tomorrow to encourage people to come along and give it a go - if you get dropped at least you won't be lost!!
So leaving Palmers carpark at 6.45pm. We will need lights for the last half hour or so!
i'd like to remind you pair of eejits that you are both in the same club and the only difference between you is that I can understand Gary most of the time and the Culchie only when I'm drunk!!!
If I remember correctly Gary two weeks ago he was down the back with me on all the climbs and down the back on his own on the descents so I suspect it wont be long before he comes running back scared. You can deal with him then.
