If you are of an intermediate persuasion then meet us at Djouce at 10.00..but don't imagine for one minute that by avoiding it you will be stronger..you won't be !!
After yesterday ..... I've decided that Intermediate just doesn't cut it!! (I'll just PM my good friend Kevin Stanley and ask him to hang around to show me the way home when you ****ers drop me!) See you there!
Hello..this is an XC training spin..not a visit to the Library or some sort of craft making workshop ! 9.30 at Palmers ( except for Adamski ) or **** off !!
that was savage..
Fair play to everybody who rode out from the pub and back again afterwards. Especially Richard and his copped on friends who had the sense to leave that bit early as the pace from Palmers to Djouce was insane..

Thanks to Shona for keeping me company on the road back to Palmers because my crank kept falling off, over taking dozens of roadies with me continously tapping the crank back on with my foot !!
Thanks for that Richie,
That was relentless ! Crazy pace out on the road, vomit inducing pace up the climbs while trying to catch your breathe on the descents ( thanks for fixing that front brake lever too !) and then chasing Rory, then Ste T all the way back to Palmers, phew !
Well done folks
That was a quality spin. Nice one Richie for the deadly route around our playground. Some of those trails like Bulldog,Gwagi and Toro going backwards really ask a question or two about technical ability. Loved all of that especially dicing with Alfie down the Best Decent. Ive never had the pleassure of thrashing down that in the dry...Deadly
Not quite sure where a number of us lost track of the savages, but it wasn't long after things kicked off. So a few of us went over the river, earls, GC, the step, etc. We bumped into a number of lost souls who had been dislodged from the group, and off we went, in fact there were riders everywhere looking a little bemused but having fun on the trails which are all as good as they could be. Great day to be out and good to see some faces I haven't seen in a while.
that was another Byrner savage special. i can't belive we did all that on the list in under 2 hours. my fecked back brake rubbing was not helping and nearly killed me at the start trying to catch up. fair play if you stayed with fast lads, and i hope the rest enjoyed themselfs
