Thanks a million for the spin Richie and thanks for bringing that coach's hat and hanging around for us on the road! It was much better that way than spending the evening wondering how far ahead the fast people were. Will try and hang on a bit better over the next few spins.

(In all seriousness, I used to be out doing training spins on my own, slogging up brutal road climbs in the wind and rain, and all I could hear in my head was Richie screamin "Harden da fook up... harden da fook up". Oh yes, we're all normal well adjusted people here in EPIC).
Good spin this evening. A bit more of a relaxed atmosphere than usual (suited me down to the ground :)) Bag of chips really is class. You can't but smile riding down that.
I don't know what it is,(well I do actually,its the savage pace) but I'm really struggling on the 1st part of these savage spins up to where the Wocca's start.After that I'm not too bad,and the road back from Enniskerry is bearable.Tonight I caught Enduro at the end of the Wocco's and we did the rest of the spin together back to Lamb Doyles.I'd like to point out that he was taking it handy,as otherwise I'd have been dropped!!Thanks mate.Roll on next Tuesday for more savage hardship!!Can only get me fitter/quicker.Also thanks to Richie for the encouragement.See you all on Thurs for the club race. Those waterbars on the Fairys Arse are savage..it takes some amount of ferocity to get over them and at speed !! Upperbody strength and failing that Supernatural skill..beats them all the time.
Most people are not aggressive enough...you have to want to kill the mountain!!
