Cheers for posting the spin Colm. That was fantastic, it was perfect for getting used to the new bike.
It took a while getting used to the difference between the new bike and the hardtail. I nearly split myself a couple of times. Great spin, I'm still smiling.
Yea cheers for putting up a post colm was good fun. Legs were like jelly at the start and I couldn't figure out why. I felt like I was pushing an elephant uphill. Luckily I remembered that I had let some air out of the tyres a few days ago, put a bit more air in and everything was fine. I never realised how much of a difference 5 psi makes, not just in grip but also in rolling.
That was a great spin; it was a small group so there wasn’t much hanging around.
Thanks for showing the GPS track Andy, the names of the trails were;
XTC
Fartknocker
Limejuicer
Up Bren’s Ramp of Doom
Down the Downhill track with the three jumps
Up to the top of the Red Road
A fast decent down the walkers path and then cut through the forest to emerge at a fire road that looked remarkably similar to the Red Road
Down Disco Stu and on to Grand Canaria
Up to the start of Benchcut but took the trail to the right, (I don’t know the name of that one)
Son of Benchcut
Up the steep trails
Down Bren’s Ramp of Doom
Back to cars
