Just for clairification folks -
[i've had a few PMs asking about this spin - ]
1. Saturday spins are for everyone
2. the pace will be fine for all to enjoy!
3. This is not an XC training spin
4. Come and enjoy yourself!
5. Fill your bottle / camelbak with Cider and enjoy the buzz (I wouldn't really recommend this, at all)
I went to a concert with me 3ltr camelbak full of cider once, drank the lot, went to the bar and filled with 3 pints of beer, drank that, dont remember much else really, other than it ruined the camelbak cause I forgot to clean it for a few weeks and you can imagine the state of it when I went to fill it with water DOH!!!!

Soundslike my type of Spin Harri, sadly Robs dragging me off to race my first DH race in Carrick tomorrow.
Im on my older sons recently aquired Stinky that noneof us have ridden yet.
Looks like it never seen a a mucky puddle in anger.
"What could possibly go wrong".
However I'll try to get out on as many Sat spins as we can.
Thanks,
Thanks for organizing the spin today Harri, good buzz out there, that hill near the end has overgrown a bit, I need to go up there with a shears some day.
Thanks Jay - yeah the old G.O.t.D has become quite the wilderness!
Thanks to all who showed (only the 4 others)
Fair play to Karen who never gave up! and never looked like giving up either - but the conditions were tough! Kindlestown has worn out a little more the rocks were really slippy and wet. IN fact everything was wet, it was bucketing down when I got there - & I really thought I'd be doing some loops by myself, luckily, Ger jackson, Jay, Karen and Terry made it a very worthwhile spin!
Terry was flying & Jackson always is, I think we were flowing faster on the spin yesterday than we've ever gone around there before! Zipping by! Nice and quick.
I think we all looked like we had been through cheese graters after the spin, lots of blood seeping from arms and legs.
well done John, theres 135 members in EPIC..only a handful race DH !! theres about 30 Serious XC racers..16 of them were needing rehab after Friday night ! a couple of the girl were away..theres a couple of broken people, a couple on hollyers !!
So where was everybody else ?
Heres the deal..nobody goes on a Sunday spin unless they come from the Saturday spins or from Racing..
John and Colm will be leading the Saturday spins for the foreseeable future and I hope people will start supporting them.
Richie
Thanks for the spin guys!!! I got a few funny looks over the weekend.....it looks like my arms were attacked by a crazy cat!!!! lesson learned wear long sleeves :) Cheers again.
