Legendary indeed. MASSIVE group out. Harri was there on his race bike, Oz on his FR machine, Doris left his bearings at home, Byrner on his 'spare' bike as he's between pro contracts, Eamo was missing about 3 inchs off each wheel, Oisin on a pogo stick, Max on the Alfa, Lynchy may as well have been on his road bike and Smithers on his Specalised PMT.

hahahaha...great spin, way too many people !! very dryish in spots..some disaster with Oisin snotting himself and sending a goober continuum ripple through Oscar and in to me !!

Mother of God that was deadly (good) I'm buzzing. In fact so much so that I could not sleep - a bad case of 'The Dons' my heart was racing for hours after.
You know you're on a savage spin when (I checked my watch) 8 minutes in your legs are on fire!!! I was only on the road at that stage & my legs were telling my brain - 'you don't take us out enough, it's all your fault!' yep. It is.
Arriving in the car park & seeing all the super light XC bikes should have given something away with respect to the intentions of the spiners. . .
Had some fun tearing around behind Mickkky - the messin' was brill fun! By the time I got dropped (and how) the spin was coming to a close! jaysus hanging on was tough! the climb up behind fairy castle was like trying to cycle up a slippy down escalator! I was hallucinating at that stage, I thought I was in space! unreal. . .
Feel great today - I've had about 3 hours sleep & I still feel I could build a boat. (?)

Great craic, felt a bit easier than Tuesday, probably as there were no really long climbs and what climbs there were on that route are broken up with some real nice techy bits, hard going.
thats a pretty good loop all the same even if some people missed sections of it or got lost.
it was 100% rideable , i was impressed to see so many senior riders snot themselves on the Boneshaker ! its going to be some craic up there when Coillte build there trails. I hope they build something cool up the back of fairy castle, the track is getting wider and wider every year.

Can't believe Byrner upset Smithers so much that he's not even talking to me! Not so bad with the fitness but I find 3-Rock, at night, in the wet, very technically difficult - had to do lots of cheating to stay in touch!
This time next week I'll be in the South of France .... missing you all terribly!!
