That was the bizz ! good numbers considering the cold wet day, good to have xc superstars Cait and Oisin join in for the off camber slippery antics. Great loop of Djouce, the fingers and toes were numb on the road back to eniskerry :)
It's very rare that I don't enjoy myself once I get out on the bike - today was one of those days! Slept it out so it was 10.15am by the time I'd cycled up to Enniskerry. Thought I'd find you lot up in Djouce but never saw sight nor sign! Went straight over the bars into a big pool of water at the top of Toro and got soaked - my hands never warmed up again! Gave up after an hour and a half wandering around Djouce and cycled home. It was ****ing freezing - when I got back to the house I stood under the shower for half an hour! Ah well that'll teach me to get up on time'!
jeasus thats unlike you to sleep it out, Well that was a great turnout and Djouce never fails to make a wet, cold day better. The trails were slippy, sliddery and Schlompy. Sliddery riddery was deadly. Really enjoyed that today cheers guys. I wont be cycling from enniskerry again, to feckin wet and cold for the cycle back I was frozen to the bone when I got back!!!
