That was a great spin today Colm around up and over 2, 3 rock that snow is great stuff for keeping the muck down not often I get back as dry and clean as I started and with dry feet

There’s a thin line between bravery and foolishness. Only Terry and Ronan managed to get to Johnnie Fox’s, but by then the clouds lifted and the sun came out. It was hard work pushing up through the fresh snow but it was worth it once we got to the tracks. The ground was hard and surprisingly grippy.
It was a cold clear day and the views from the Fairy Castle were spectacular. A fantastic descent down the Wicklow Way, followed by an act of supreme concentration to get back to the cars on the icy road.
As Terry mentioned the snow covered up all the mud so we came back cleaner than when we went out. There must be easier ways to clean your bike but nothing that was this much fun.
We took a few photos and I’ll post them up later.
