well that was the craziest spin i've ever been on! after i spent about 40 minutes battling through crazy drivers with windscreens full of snow and heads full of lunacy and the taste of salt and grit in my mouth and i'd thought i'd caught tracoma but it was just salty grit in my eyeballs i finally reached ticknock carpark and there he was the godfather of irish mountainbiking...richie byrne!
we set off up the roads and fireroads to the masts, there was a few inches of fresh snow on top of a few inches of compact ice so it was a battle to stay upright but we got there and when we did we made the executive decision to get the f#!k out of there before we perishied and our frozen carcasses were eaten by wolves
so off we headed down the boneshaker! there was up to 10 inches of snow on it no lines to follow you couldnt see any drops or rocks it was insane but deadly at the same time at one stage richie came off at high speed off the trail upside down and when he got up he was like a snow man...deadly anyway we made it down alive and after the same battle with the traffic and freezing cold i got home and had to put my hands an feet in cold water to warm them up before i had a shower!
hope your all enjoying work...
i wonder did richie make it home alive.

Cmon Terry, where is this pop-up shop you speak of, you might as well get a plug in!
hello you losers..you didn't come on the spin, you have no praise or worship for the two of us that did and you insist on bleating on about shops and sh1t , fcuk off !!
Well you almost had 3! setting of with what i thought was loads of time to spare, i didn't count on the m50 grinding to a snails pace. So with 5 minutes to spare i was rallying up to ticknock unfortunately as i approached the top there was a fiesta or something stuck in the middle of the road full of bodies and a downhill bike on the back! It took forever to get by him and then evan i got stuck (don't be fooled by the jeep, rather than replace parts i removed the rear drive, so only two wheeled drive :-() so pulled in jumped on the bike and set off following the nice fresh tracks left by Richie and somebody?
I gave it socks daftly thinking i'd catch up but by the top with the taste of lung in my mouth i gave up. I continued to follow the tracks but on the descent i fell off so many times i gave up. On the way back to the jeep i met the lads that had delayed me on the hill, one was on the downhill bike another had some fancy cameras and the third was trotting behind with a large tripod! Turns out they were looking for Mr Byrne aswell!
