Super stuff, i will be leaving from the bottom car park on the N11 same as sunday. I will be parking at the glenview hotel flyover and riding down as i cant get the van under the barrier...

If the temperature stays above 0 I might take the road bike out, otherwise I will join you.

Hello. Getting back out of the N11 car park this morning was tricky. Not impossible but tricky.

Remember I'm still available if anyone needs ballast.

Well that was epic.... fail!

I left home and after initial hike a bike I got to the main road (along the grand canal). It was wet but no ice so I thought - great, I should get 1h in easily!

After 20min the road started to get shiny and I decided to cut the route I planned to a shorter one. It was fine until my front wheel washed out on a bend and send me flying across the street....

...well, I should have known better not to take the road bike out, I'm fed up with this weather at this stage!

I had Epic Turbo fail also...Oisin, Sprocket and myself headed of from car park all was good trails were all ridable, messy in spots but mostly grand...got up to the top of the downs headed for kindelstown via narnia, the trails were sweet in the trees...then BOOOM i felt like someone had plugged me out...i hadnt the strenght to push the granny gear even?? mift, i carried on untill kindelstown were i thought it might be better to nurse it home...the lads went on...

I spent the rest of my evening on the throne....the up side is i am down a half a stone now...

I've never seen anyone fade so fast like that... one minute you were powering up the climb then next thing you were as pale as a corpse! Take it easy for a couple of days and I'm sure you'll be grand.

Sprocket and myself continued on around Kindlestown. Really muddy and slushy - there was actually more grip in the snow. But its still a great little loop when the weather is crap.

Yeah is was good to get out last night, I forgot how dark it was up there, found it fairly slippy in places but nice all the same....hope you're feeling better now Skippy, you didn't look too well when we got to the road....thanks for letting me catch up on you here and there Oisin.
