Tuesday 14th Night Spin
damn you beating me to it was gonna suggest kindlestown and the GOD but the leadmines will do
well whatever everyone fancies. i haven't been to either place in a long time so either one would be cool.......hmmmmmm

That was a wet one. Five brave hardy souls told the weather to feck off(Mark, Gav, Rosco, Sham and myself) and went for a tour of Kindlestown and GOD. It was a good one in the end but didn't start off to good with tubeless shenanigans and then Mark having to change bikes. Always leave a spare in a van in the carpark just incase. It could of ruinned the spin. I don't think i've ever seen the place that wet although it wasn't actually that muddy. All the mud seemed to be washed away and it was like riding in a river for most of the lap. Over to GOD and the tunnel track was in a similar state only with more mist/rain and less visability and slippyer roots. Back to the top and down my favourite trail there from the octogon down to the n11. Its usually mental fast but not tonight visability was down to about 2 meters and even goin slower than ever before we still managed to miss all the dodgy corners. For a while Rosco thought he was in the zone being held up by Mark. Then he remembered the bike Mark was riding and all thoughts of glory quickly vanished and it was onto kicking our asses on the climbs.
well , total fitness was lovely and dry and the gurls were all lovely...I don't know what you lads are thinking of !!
Tuseday's spin
A deadly spin with great craic a big up to sham for the lend of his missus bike! nice comfy saddle which made up for the 1" travel Carbon forks, was looking forward to a good spin and gutted when my rear mech commited Seppuku.
I swear thats the first spin i've done on a hardtail in year's you'd count on two hands, real nice on the climbs. the weather sucked but the trails were challanging, you could see more with youre eye's closed.
It'be be great to see the number's rise again, a couple of regulars missing hope to see you all out soon.

yeah,whats with the laziness ..fair play lads..bear in mind that at the moment the Thursday Night rides are in the same vein as the Tuesdays..just a bit of craic on the bike, so if you can't make Tuesdays make Thursdays...till Xmas at least..then the pain will set in..

Great spin tonight, that Cannondale Mark was on looked like a torture instrument (a torture instrument with a nice paint job).
There was some amount of fog out there though. That last speedy bit loop from GOD back to the car park was deadly with 2ft visibility.
