I'll be heading up to Djouce this Sunday 8.30 for an early spinaroo with a few daddies.
We'll spend an hour or so there and then head over to the Sugerloaf to join the DH loonbags.
Pace will be steady, no hanging about and be ready to SET OFF at 8.30. Time is precious so I won't be waiting around for people skidding into the carpark at 8.35. Anybody awake is welcome to join.
are you soft in the head...? you are going to miss the Deadbull Rampage ..with other scaredy cats..have you no shame ? have you had your testiculanians removed..?
its very simple..
you get out of bed..stand at the base of the bed and loudly announce that you are a middle aged Pagan Sex God and you are off up to the top of the Murderhorne ( formerly The Great Sugarloaf) to fire yourself off with all the other Loonatics..
You can give your owners/wives my phone number I will be only too happy to explain that this is something you were born to do..
Don't let us down Don...this could go very badly..if you're not there i could just possibly encourage nudity..
I know, I know. I could have said nothing and made some lilly livered excuse about knitting, but I thought I would post up an option for those who still have a vague grasp of their mortality. The real truth is 10am, as usual for me is too late, combine that with the very real possibility of bike damage at best and hospitalisation at worse and it's off to Djouce I go. I can't help thinking though as a dawdle up the Earls drive that my mind will be elsewhere....
Jaysus Byrner you're showing your age - no one ever refers to the Great Sugarloaf anymore. Still I guess when you were a young lad the only map was the half inch Sheet 16 which did indeed refer to the aforementioned mountain by its full title. (Though technically it's not a mountain, being less than 2000 feet high). I like Murderhorne though, very apt.
