Hello, to save confusion about Sunday, yes I am going for a spin, No I am not entering the Biking Blitz.
Yes I am going to Djouce and Yes I am doing the loop I wanted to do this week before Joe led us astray.
No I will not be going over the mountain to Ballinastoe.
At this stage in the game it makes more sense not to be " racing " and more sense to be training.
So its 10.00am from Palmers and no gallop to Djouce and steady around Djouce.
ok..
I'm going to my best friend's 30th bday on Saturday night, If I wake up on time I'll do the spin in Djouce, if I wake up late I'll probably go to the Blitz.
I'm planning to do the usual 100k on Satruday so I'll be going steady on Sunday either way.
Palmers to Djouce 2 hours of Power in Djouce. All the singletrack, all the pain.

if you come down the Foxglove climb and then head across the river..theres always some sort of bridge in the the river !
well its the trail that slidders off to the right and goes off on a camber along the river !
As you exit the first section of GC take a left down to the fire road then across the river where the logs are up the steep bank and right into Slidery Ridery......yee ha
Can I ask a question? Ive been trying to figure it out but where is Bulldog and Gwangi? Im guessing one of them is the horrible rocky climb to the middle car park?
And dry muck? or are ye just making these up?

Ok Bulldog is the trail off to the right when your on the double track from the bottom of XTC.
Gwangi is the single track trail from the bottom of bulldog up to the bottom of the rocky trail that goes up to the middle car park.
Dry muck is the single track trail, actually this is hard to explain. Ok if you are at the start of GC there is a steep double track behind and to your right go up that and keep to your right steep little climb that levels out into a mucky single track its never dry!!
Hope this helps
