Tues Night spin

Ok gonna be a bit adventurous meet at 7.20 at curtlestown for a blast up over and over to cloon and then back to the wicklow way and up by the hostel. Make sure you have a back light as theres a small bit of road. If the weather is really ****ty there might be a change of plan but ill let you know by tues lunch time.

Well Tues night spins are from now on going to be tues night adventures. A good gang out tonight even with out Sham and Gav (lazy git). Maybe he was making a new outfit for when he restarts his music carear. Mark T, Adam, Cathal, Karl T, Shona, new recruit John and Keith. Up Curtlestown to the top and the adventure started there. There was crazy fog with about 2 meters visability even with the best of lights. We struggled to find the trail to the top and onto cloon. We thought we where there and going the right way but it all ended up a bit pear shapped. So after a bit of being lost and some hiking through the goarse/heather we found the trail and we where on our way. Its a tough old trek up over to cloon but well worth it. Would have been better if we could have seen where we where going but what the hell. On down the dh track in cloon and back along the road. Keith and Shona bailed early. The rest of us headed down the wicklow way to the river by the hostel. It was well worth the trip with some super slippy sideways action causing us all to end up in a pile of bikes and bodies in the same place at the same time.

Well that was certainly adventurous alright. The fog was crazy up the top of the mountain, couldn't see a thing, it was great craic though, really enjoyed it. Thanks Al. See you all next week.

That was a great spin. Tuff trip over Curtlestown but well worth it. I never doubted Als in built GPS for a minute a bit of recalculating and he got us out no problems I was glad cause I hadn't a clue which direction we needed to go. Just a note to people face planting into a mucky puddle is disgusting don't do it. The madness down to the river was hilarious. Great spin cheers Al.
