jasus how long are you in Epic....thats the first race to the club league. The hill climb that sets your handicap for the year. From lambers you go down the hill to traynors pub, striaght on through the lights and take the left at the t junction and wait under the bridge for the pain to arrive, because it won't be long coming.
missed you by 2 minutes, and i was on time before you start whinging.
got to the roundabout and saw the rear end, of orla in the distance.
great target to focus on whilst legging it up the hill too ;-)
had you guys in my sights but I kept going up the tarmac and reckon you all turned left
for the easier route.
so i got lost at the top in some bog before coming out onto the trail and meeting colin.
freewheel blew apart then, so I headed home. fcuking bike has me driven nuts the past few weeks.
hope hubs here we come

Started with orla, Gary,micky ,KevinL,Max,Andrew,Damo,Jack.
We lost gary and Orla first, thenKev, then Micky but found John Doris
We went up Kilmashogue, WW,fairy castle, 2 rock, Metro 2.

Savage pace.
Well done folks.
That was savage spin to today, nearly fell of the back a fews times but just dug deeper. I thought the puncture was going to ruin the whole day but luckily caught back up with the lads for the final decent back home..
i think one of my top spin for a while. cheers lads.
Suffered from the start,then while at the back of the group I went over the bars on the down bit on the "unknown trail" just to prove to myself how bad I was going!!Cut my knee and shin and left arm.Nothing major.So straightened out the handlebars and carried on my own.Was back at my car at 10.45am.1st race next Sunday is going to be painfull!!LOL Still,Im glad I went.Oh yeah,did I mention how feckin cold and windy it was??
