Tuesday Adventure I mean spin

Well that was a nice spin. Where slowly on our way to savageness. A reasonable turn out even though there was excuses left right and centre for people not heading out. Freckin fair weather cyclists Mark T, Adam, Cathal, Shona, special guest apearance from Fergal and myself all convinced ourself that the warm pub down the road was not going to be good as a bit of night biking. With talk of warm buildings and cold beer we set off for a lap of kindlestown. The coldness was soon forgotten once in the shelter of the woods and we got our brains into biking gear. After a quick lap we headed on over to the GOD for a blast around the tunnel track. Back up to the octagone thingy and down the best night descent ever for some super drifty action and big grins on our faces. One of these days im gonna nail that ******* right hander. After the fun was over it was back up the walker’s path and at half way we peeled off to the right for some more fun. We headed for the steep swithcbacky stuff which was cool to ride and had Mark showing off his cornering skills that would make Sam Hill jealous. Once at the bottom again the climb back to the top was tough. Most of us where feeling a bit to enthusastic on our way back to kindlestown so decided to go for another lap. Bad idea it was mine and I paid for it. Anyway great spin good gang very little hanging around, Shona your sneaky weekend spins are payin off.

thanks for that lads - just what I needed, my newly-suspension-serviced bike was just the tool for tonight-thanks to Al & Paul for having it done a week early!
that night-train down the GOTD trails is something else, with nothing but your nerve to slow you down, must try get that on a helmet cam at some stage, I'd say it'd look class

cheers for a great spin Al, was a bit concerned with the low turn out (safety in numbers and all that!!!) but after a slow start on the K'town lap it got better and better
