Another great spin! Paddy and myself rode the whole thing together and we've definately got ourselves another savage! For the 1st half of the spin I kept thinking he'd blow up and fall back and for the 2nd half I realised that if he knew where he was going he'd have ****ed off and left me! He also cleared Bag of Chips from top to bottom on his first time seeing it! Fair dues Paddy!
Fastest I've ever done the loop and felt good the whole way! Must be the energy from all the chocolate over the weekend!

You were flying Richard. I stayed near you last week, but no chance this week. And I did it same time to the minute.
well we had an excellent little spin..well me and Damo..then Fergal caught up at the bottom of the Woccas..then Micky caught up at the top of Bag of Chips.
Then we had the usual blast out of Enniskerry but I decided to go back and see where the remnants of the savage pack was..picking up Jack first then Mick came along leading Nipples, Dman and Colm McG.
So I did a bit of work on the front for them , got bored with that and went back for Jack again ( poor baby , too much cycling at the weekend ) then I rolled home from Glenamuck..
The pace at the start was fiercer than ever..my fault for chasing after Evan from TW..then I just got the old bit between my teeth , knew Damo and Fergal would go for it and away we went.
30 minutes from Lambers to Glencullen and 1hr 10 to Curtlestown. I could definitely beat that.
Nice one kids.
I had a deadly crash in the Heather after Ravens Rock, my pedal caught in the Heather..BOC is riding really well too..
I would love to do that loop twice in one evening !

Great spin, thanks to Richie for the killer of a start, nothing like burning legs within 5mins of the spin starting. The pace was pretty hot last night, Richie had been drinking Jet Fuel for the afternoon, so had the after burners on all the time. Fair play to Fergal and Micky for bridging the gap, Micky killed me on the road back to Lambers, think he thought he was in the Gorey..
That was an interesting spin. I had a bad start; having been delayed in work I arrived late. I didn’t get to leave with Richard’s group but I got going just before Richie’s crew left.
About half way up Ticknock road I realised, in my haste I had inadvertently put my shorts on back to front. There was only slight discomfort by not having the padding in the right place but some cosmetic advantages presented themselves. There’s not as much padding at the back so this has a slimming effect on the posterior and the extra padding at the front is quite flattering.
Another advantage is the additional insulation the back to front arrangement provides to a certain part of the anatomy when on the road. I could be on to something here.
Anyway, I caught up with The Culchie on the WW and went around the rest of the loop with him. Just as well as he got a puncture and some heavy engineering was required to get him mobile again. Had a very spectacular over the bars on the trail before BOC and Culchie played chicken with a double decker bus on the road to Enniskerry.

So I just gave it all I had for as long as I could and the road after Enniskerry was the point when i had to give a little. Sundays spin finally caught up with the legs. Thanks for Richie for the road support at the end... i didn't think that road was ever going to end. Still was faster than last year so happy with that.

Anyhow, really enjoyed the spin, no way of keeping up with Richie, Damo & co but myself, Terry , Darragh and Colm kept each other company. Bag of Chips was riding great, so dry. thanks lads.
