Ok..
We are meeting at 6.30 outside Alfies Shop..Expert Cycles..its in Rathfarnham Village.
Then 6.45 at the bottom of Kilmashogue lane as this is the way we will be rolling..
So its
6.30 at Expert Cycles
6.45 at the bottom of Kilmashogue lane
Now I expect everybody to meet at those times and not go early.
If you go early thats your business but its a mistake, the only reason people have gotten savage is by going with me ,Alfie and Damo at our times.
im not so sure it's good to meet at palmers, as personally, I think the sprint back on the road is of more benefit.
like last week I had jackson chasing me like a rabid dog, it really forces you to push right till the end, plus when you see some other rider ahead you go crazy to catch them.
But if you just cruise home on the road then yea palmers is probably a better bet.
now I stand corrected, just MY thoughts.
and i'm only a beginner coach, so forgive me my sins.
ah it is and it isn't , if you are in a bunch with riders of a similiar standard, yes it works, but if you are bollixed and trudging back..thats a different story altogether.
Now the most important part of this spin is the start..
trying to stay up with the really fast lads week in week out..even till you get to the top of kilmashogue then your pace will increase..
even if you only get to Glencullen on or just off the pace, then you have gained something..
better to get a good start then killing yourself at the end..
and as I am an actual coach..you can shut your yappy gob Nipples !
yes the race home is of huge benefit but only if you are in the right group.
yes the start is the mist beneficial as most of you are way too slow at the start of racing !
